Water Damaged MacBook Restored

This Mac Book was damaged by water from a broken pipe that came through a ceiling in a residential water loss. Our SERVPRO of Olathe/Lenexa electronics specialist removed the hard drive, LCD panel and battery from the computer to determine the extent of the damage. He then exposed and washed the remaining components and placed them in a drying and deodorizing chamber for a few days. SERVPRO specializes in these drying chambers that focus high powered drying techniques to electronics. Once all of the components were dry our electronics specialist started reassembling the computer on a static-free environment.
