A mold containment serves one main purpose and needs to be in place before mold remediation can continue.

How to use a mold containment?

Containments should be placed floor to ceiling and sealed as closely as possible. We understand that a perfect seal is impossible. Mold spores are too small to keep inclosed but as long as the air flow is entering the containment we can minimize the risk of them escaping. We add an air filtration device inside the containment that pulls positive pressure from the outside while cleaning the air inside the containment. The mold spores don't have a chance of escaping the containment while SERVPRO of Olathe / Lenexa perform the mitigation services.
